Our volunteers show up not once, but TWICE a year for us! 👏 A huge thanks to our Wolfpack that helped in our booth at the Louisiana Blackberry Festival! 🎉 We appreciate you all!

Today we remember our friend Neuty the Nutria ❤️

Neuty stepped into some very big shoes, replacing our dear Beignet the Nutria, and quickly became a treasured part of the Rougarou Fest during our annual Cajun Critter Pardoning. After a brave battle with cancer, Neuty has passed away.

Neuty helped us to teach festival goers that invasive animals, like nutria, cause permanent damage to coastal marshes and other wetlands by feeding on native plants that hold wetland soil together.
