Final Details for Sprint into Spring – Race Day is Tomorrow! 🏃♂️🌸
Dear Sprint into Spring Participants,
Thank you so much for signing up, coming out, and supporting our cause to help the Ewings Family. Your participation brings energy and kindness, and we’re beyond grateful to have you join us. This event isn’t just about a race, it’s about community and compassion. Let's make it a day to remember and start your racing season off on the right track!
📍 Pre-Registration Check-in & Same-Day Registration
Please report to Military Street Baptist Church (MSBC), 307 Military Street in Houlton. Parking is available on-site.
There will be two clearly marked lines:
One for pre-registered runners picking up shirts and bibs.
One for same-day registrants signing up on race day. Same Day prices will remain at $20.00.
Unfortunately, T-Shirts have Sold Out.
You only need to go through the line that applies to you, not both. Bathrooms are available at the church.
Check-in and registration are open from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM.
We cannot stress this enough: everyone must be signed in by 9:30 AM. Please come early to ease the load on our race day volunteers and ensure our timing crew has time to prep for the start. Late sign-ins can interfere with accurate timing and make things trickier for everyone.
🎽 Race Bibs & Start Line Info
All runners must wear their issued race bibs:
On the outside of your shirt, on your stomach or chest.
Bibs must be forward-facing, upright, and pinned in all four corners.
Do not wear your bib on your hip, back, walking device/stroller, or any other location.
Incorrect bib placement may prevent our timing cameras from picking up your number, and your effort may not be recorded accurately. Help us help you, pin those bibs properly!
The race start line is located approximately 0.3 miles past MSBC (east towards Canada), and will be clearly marked with cones. It's a short walk from check-in.
🛣️ Race Course & Conditions
You’re in for a fun and scenic route and mother nature is giving us some great race conditions. Forecasts right now are slightly overcast cloud cover, with a tiny chance for rain (this has improved quite a bit since yesterday) and a light breeze of about 6mph. We will run this race rain or shine.
The first 2.7 km of the course run straight along Military Street (US RT2), heading west into downtown Houlton.
You’ll then turn onto Kendall Street, run through Union Square, cross the North Street Bridge, and take a right into Riverfront Park.
The finish line awaits you in front of the beautiful Gateway Arch Bridge!
🏅 Awards Ceremony
Once all runners have crossed the finish line, we’ll gather around the gazebo in Riverfront Park for a brief awards ceremony to recognize our top finishers.
Please note:
Only race staff may park at Riverfront Park. Parking downtown is available in the Market Square commons and the TD Bank lot across the street is open and easily accessible.

MSBC is hosting other events tomorrow. Please be respectful of the sanctuary and the activities happening on site, including a clothing giveaway and a funeral later in the day. We kindly ask that you retrieve your belongings and vehicles in a timely manner.
