Sandy Pines is an 800+ acre recreational community, RV resort & campground where members and campers enjoy family fun, events, amenities, lake life, recreation, and lasting memories in West Michigan. Sandy Pines Wilderness Trails is a member owned RV Resort & Campground which encompasses 813 acres, not far from your home and close to many tourist attractions in Southwest Michigan. Our park include

s our own 262 acre lake, 24 hour, year round security, 23 miles of paved roads, 13 heated bathrooms with showers, 4 laundromats, outdoor pools, ice cream shop, camp store, hardware store, open air Chapel with regular Sunday worship services and evening concerts and a summer recreational program for all ages. Our Recreation Station features 3 heated outdoor pools, waterslide, splash pad, arcade center, fitness room and snack shop. Enjoy our many playground areas, tot center, lighted tennis courts, basketball, shuffleboard, horseshoe pits, bocce ball, volleyball, miniature golf, disc golf, soccer field, high ropes course, remote control car tracks, baseball diamond, adjacent 18 hole golf course, nature/fitness trails, snowmobile trails and a dog park. Superhero Weekend at Sandy Pines is almost here! 🦸🌲

Our themed weekends continue this week with a full lineup of superhero-themed fun around the park.

This weekend’s theme is Superhero Weekend, and there are plenty of events, activities, and special moments planned for members, campers, and guests to enjoy. From a park-wide Gemstone Hunt and Little Red Express Train Rides to Cape Making, Superhero Training, Heroes vs. Villains Tag, Movie on the Grass, Superhero Bingo, and more, there is a lot happening as Sandy Pines suits up for another great weekend.

Unfortunately, our Sand Art Necklace event that was scheduled for today has been postponed.

It seems our supplies got a little lost at sea and have not arrived in time for today's event. While we're disappointed to postpone, we want to make sure everyone has the full experience once the materials arrive.

We will announce a new date as soon as the shipment arrives and plans are finalized.

Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to creating some colorful masterpieces with you soon!

The ships have sailed, the names have been logged, and the treasure is ready to be claimed. 🏴‍☠️

A huge thank you to all the pirates who joined in on our Best Pirate Ship fun! We had an absolute blast seeing your golf carts, your creativity, and all of the seaworthy names sailing through the comments.

Now, about the winner announcement being a little late… our message in a bottle got lost at sea, took a wrong turn on Lake Monterey, drifted past the Ropes Course, and finally washed ashore this morning.

But the treasure has officially been found!

Congratulations to our 3 randomly selected winners, who are now officially on the Sandy Pines Most Wanted list! Each winner will receive a $10 Happy Shack Gift Voucher.

Winners can stop by Member Service to claim their reward any time this week, Monday–Friday from 8 am–4 pm.

Thanks again to everyone who played along and helped make Pirate Weekend such a fun one! ⚓

Please be advised that Lake Monterey will be treated tomorrow, June 1, 2026, for spot w**d and algae treatment.

A 24-hour swimming ban will be in effect in all areas with signs posted. Please keep an eye out for these signs and avoid swimming in those designated zones.

The Sandy Pines Treasure Hunt sets sail today from 4:00–6:00 PM!

Start your adventure at the Recreation Office, where you’ll pick up your pirate map and begin decoding the clues that lead to hidden locations throughout the park. At each stop, you’ll collect gold coins before returning to Rec to claim your prize from the treasure chest.

Grab a friend, hop on your golf cart, and see if you have what it takes to uncover the treasure! 🏴‍☠️🪙🗺️
