The historic Hopewell Valley Stage has reopened, and Morven is proud to join the Hopewell Valley Historical Society and Princeton Battlefield Society in supporting the new musical performance “The Crossing” on June 20.

"The Crossing reimagines Washington's crossing of the Delaware, spotlighting the diverse, often overlooked voices of the Continental Army," said composer John Allen Watts, who also serves as a musical director at The Lucy Moses School in New York City.

Seeking a company of ✨PERFORMERS✨ available year-round for our weekly kids’ show: a splattering of Aesop’s Fables reimagined for maximum silliness and whimsy! Target audience ages 3+. Auditions are June 6th!

Please note that this is a paid, ADULT non-equity acting company, not a youth acting opportunity.

The show will premiere on Saturday June 27th and have weekly performances at 10am on Saturdays starting in August.

Our rotating cast of 6 will rehearse from June 15-26 to devise a performance based on a loose script framework with plenty of room for improvisation. HUGE plus if you play an instrument, sing, or have a background in improv, comedy, or teaching. We will provide sides. If you sing or play an instrument, please prepare 30 seconds to a minute of a silly song you can perform unaccompanied/self-accompanied.
