The Fayetteville, NC Cars and Coffee events usually occur every second Saturday at The Coffee Cup by the Millstone Theater in Hope Mills, NC. These events are for car-enthusiasts to share their pride and joy and meet other car-enthusiasts from the area. The unused scholarship from Rockin' and Racin' for an Education event was in the amount of $2,905.00. Scholarship applicants meeting the requirements were voted on by the Cars and Coffee group based on responses to the questions asked. Congratulations to Andy Dario Perez Gonzalez! Andy is one year into the Automotive Technology program at FTCC. Hopefully this scholarship will be helpful in pursuing your career in Automotive Technology! Thank you to everyone who applied!

Some of you may remember about 6 years ago, Cars and Coffee had a special event and the proceeds were given to a student in a trade at FTCC. The school recently contacted me because the student didn't use the scholarship. With that being said, someone else now has an opportunity for this scholarship in the amount of $2,647.00. We are looking for a soon to be or recent high school graduate that will be or currently is attending FTCC for a trade. Student must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 while in the program.
