Reminder for tonight's free all ages movie night!

🎬✨ A Night of Big Feelings and Tiny Films ✨🎬
Looking for something that’ll make you laugh, tear up just a little, and feel oddly hopeful about the world—all in under two hours? We got you.

Join the White Salmon Arts Council and the Gorge Impact Film Festival for a totally free, family-friendly evening of short films that are proof that good storytelling doesn’t need 2.5 hours, a car chase, or six sequels. We’ll even have a handful of the filmmakers in attendance for an intimate Q & A.

These tiny cinematic gems range from 2 to 15 minutes—perfect for short attention spans, fidgety kids, overworked parents, and grandparents who “just want to be home by 9.” Every film was hand-picked to inspire joy, wonder, and maybe even a spontaneous group hug (no pressure).

🪑 BYO seating situation: beanbags, floor cushions, crash pads, yoga mats, inflatable couches, or the most ridiculous camping chair you own. (We love a dramatic outdoor throne.)

🍿 Food? Drinks? Yes. Grab snacks and drinks from the Society Cafe or bring your own spread—cheese plates to juice boxes welcome.

💖 Accessibility? 100%. ADA-compliant and cozy for everyone.
Whether you're 5 or 85, this is your invitation to a night of cinematic joy and community coziness. Expect to laugh. Maybe cry. Definitely snack.

Obsessed With Light Film Screening (Hood River): Discover the Life of Loie Fuller!
Pull back the curtain on the life and career of Loïe Fuller, a wildly original performer who revolutionized the visual culture of the early 20th century and co-founded Maryhill Museum of Art. Creating a dialogue between the past and the present, this documentary delves into the astonishing influence Fuller’s work in dance, lighting, and costume design has on contemporary culture including artists like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Taylor Swift, Bill T. Jones, Shakira and William Kentridge, among many others.
