TONIGHT, NOV 22: The Happy Valley Guitar Orchestra returns to De La Luz for an unforgettable evening that bridges classical mastery, video game nostalgia, and avant-garde cool. This adventurous ensemble of electric, acoustic, classical, and bass guitars transforms familiar themes into lush, cinematic soundscapes. For this performance, HVGO takes on the iconic soundtrack of Final Fantasy IV by legendary composer Nobuo Uematsu—music beloved by generations of gamers—interwoven with pieces by J.S. Bach, Stereolab, and other unexpected influences that span centuries and genres.

Hungry? Next door in our Divine Theater (all under the same roof), the Holyoke Food & Equity collective is hosting their fall Harvest Dinner, prepared by chef Neftali Duran. Dinner begins at 5:30 PM and is open to all at a sliding scale. You can even take your plate to the Soundstage where the Guitar Orchestra is performing. Hope to see you tonight!

THURS, NOV 6: The Bad Plus have been defying genres and expectations for over two decades, forging a sound that is as daring as it is accessible. Known for their fearless blend of jazz improvisation, rock energy, and avant-garde experimentation, the group has carved out a singular place in contemporary music. With their latest lineup, they’ve reinvigorated their trademark sound while pushing further into new sonic landscapes, earning praise from outlets like The New York Times for their “restless creativity and boundless spirit.”

Join us for dinner and a show on THURSDAY, NOV 6th at De la Luz Soundstage, on the Canal Walk in Holyoke. Doors open at 6PM, show starts at 7PM.
