Western Mass’ Pumpkin Classic Softball Tournament

The unfortunate update. 🎃

A plan was set to have the 2025 Pumpkin was set for 11/7 for the Home Run Derby & 11/8 for the Tournament.

Those dates were chosen because it would be after every single World Tournament. No excuse for anyone to miss what has become one of the best tournaments in the area solely due to the players. The competition and the tournament are an important piece to this all but this tournament has become what it has become based of off the respect you all bring to the tournament, no issues, no problems, just players coming to ball out.

Unfortunately, there is no other reason aside from all the potential participating cities not allowing that date because it was one week after ‘fields closed’ for the winter. We tried, we plead, however a rule was set by the cities and we just have to respect it.

It pains us to have to push this all to 2026 but we have already reserved the dates for 2026 because of this discrepancy and look forward to it.

Western Mass’ Pumpkin Classic Softball Tournament BRINGS YOU:

THE 1ST ANNUAL PUMPKIN HOMERUN DERBY DERBY!

WE WILL BEGIN AT 7PM SHARP AT BRAINARD PARK - ENFIELD, CT!

DERBY HITTERS PLEASE CHECK IN BY 645PM THE LATEST!

PITCHERS NET AND BALLS PROVIDED - BRING YOUR OWN PITCHER ENCOURAGED!

HITTERS WILL BE GIVEN 1 MINUTE TOTAL TO SWING IN EACH OF THE FIRST 3 ROUNDS.

THE TOP 10 HITTERS WILL ADVANCE TO THE SECOND ROUND, FOLLOWING THE SECOND ROUND, THE TOP 4 WILL ADVANCE. FOLLOWING THE THIRD ROUND THE TOP 2 WILL ADVANCE.

HITTERS WILL HAVE 2 MINUTES IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND EACH WITH 1 BREAK TO BE UTILIZED!

ANY TIES WILL GO TO A 5 BALL SWING OFF!
