As the year turns and we all take stock of what matters most, I want to share a personal update. I’ve decided to take a hiatus from my business so I can be fully present with my family, especially as I care for my aging mother. This season of life has made things very clear to me. Time is precious. Love is not something to postpone. Family is, and always will be, the most important work I do.

The new year often asks us what we’re being called to focus on next. For me, the answer is simple and not always easy. I’m being called to slow down, to show up, and to give my energy where it’s needed most right now. To sit at the kitchen table a little longer. To listen more. To choose love in the most practical, everyday ways.

This is not a goodbye. It’s a pause. I’m stepping back with intention, knowing that this time matters deeply. I will stay connected through a handful of small, community-focused pop-up events when it feels right. For now, I’m following my heart and putting family first. Thank you for your understanding, your kindness, and for being part of this journey with me.

For anyone looking for an AMAZING event planner, Susan Groce Newnam of Susan Newnam Events is your girl. I will stay connectes with her in 2026 and let God handle the rest.
