🎣 OWNER HIGHLIGHT 🎣

Meet Mike & Alicia Minia — proud owners of a 27 Onslow Bay and familiar faces in the king mackerel community.

📍 Fish out of: Delray Beach, FL
🏆 Tournament involvement:
We fish all the local KDW tournaments as well as travel to fish King Mackerel Tournaments. We also host the Ft. Pierce King Mackerel Invitational Tournament.
🎣 Favorite species to target:
Kingfish, Dolphin, Wahoo, and bottom fish.
🌊 Favorite place to take their 27: We enjoy going to Bimini for  quick weekends.
⚓ Favorite feature on the boat: Mike likes the 2 livewells and that every hatch stays dry and are insulated.  Alicia likes the bow area where the gunnels are wide enough to put a bean bag up on and relax at the sandbar.
🐟 Best catch/memory aboard:  we were out fun fishing one day and we had a nice fish on. Alicia is driving and Mike is fighting the fish. It was acting like a wahoo but Mike sees the fish and said get the gaff it’s a kingfish. Alicia says please be a wahoo and gaffs the fish and somehow it became a wahoo. (We are never wrong on calling fish that one is still a mystery)
☀️ Ideal day on the water:  We enjoy fishing tournaments from spring through late summer. Usually get on the boat around 4 am and don’t come home until the sun is setting.
💙 Why they chose Onslow Bay:  We chose Onslow Bay for one reason, Quality.  It was important to us to own a boat that was built well, rides well, and could handle what we do. After many years and a few thousand hours we can’t own another brand.  The boat has exceeded our expectations.

Congratulations to Randall Edens for his 2nd place finish in the . Brett Barnes on “Hot Rod” was consistent as usual and placed 3rd, and Michael Davis rounded out Onslow Bay’s in the top 10 with his 7th place finish. Great job guys! .
