The U.S. Air Force F-35A Lightning II Demonstration Team put on an incredible display at yesterday's Holloman Air Show. Today is the show's final day. Flying begins at noon and entry is free. Today (Sunday, May 8th) is the final day of the Holloman Air Show. The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds amazed our crowd yesterday in their first Holloman appearance in 11 years. Gates open at 8 and flying begins around noon. Admission is free, but there are still a few premium seat tickets available for purchase at https://hollomanairshow.com/tickets/

GATE UPDATE: West Gate closes to in-bound traffic at 2:30 p.m., this is 30 minutes earlier than previously advertised. If you are NOT a DoD-ID card holder and wish to park in general parking please make your way NOW!

It’s the big air show day!

We hope everyone has a great time today at the Air Show and Open House. To ensure that you do, we have useful information for you to review.

GATES
The West Gate opens at 8 a.m., and the Main Gate opens to handicapped guests without DoD-ID cards at 8 a.m., please get here early to grab a spot for your party.

DoD-ID card holders and their escorted guests with passes can enter the Main Gate at anytime.

We have two gates to enter double check you’re heading to the right one:
General Public (without DoD-ID cards)– West Gate
Handicapped Plate/Placard Holders – Main Gate
Performers/VIP/Media – Main Gate
Vendors – Main Gate
Dod-ID Card Holders & Guests with Passes – Main gate

SHUTTLES
Buses will transport guests to and from the general parking area (West Gate) and air show area. If you arrive to the air show area on a bus, you will leave the air show area on a bus.

PACKING
Clear Bags/Small Backpacks
Non-glass Water Bottle
Sunscreen/Sunglasses
Lawn Chairs
Ear Protection
Small Umbrellas
It’s good to be prepared, but be careful not to pack too much.

WEATHER
We’re expecting 90-degree weather this weekend. Water and sun screen will be your best buds for the air show. Shaded areas will be limited to those without premier seating tickets, make sure you bring what you need to prevent sun/heat injuries.

The first day of the Holloman Air Show is in the books and the Thunderbirds and all our performers put on a fantastic show. The show's final day is tomorrow (Sunday). Admission is free, but there are a limited amount of premium seating available for purchase at www.HollomanAirShow.com.

There are scammers that have been posting links to "view the air show online" These people have been reported to Facebook and legal authorities. The only way to see this weekend's show is to come out to Holloman AFB - 49th Wing.
