This week at Blooming Blossoms 🌼
We had a wonderful time learning about Martin Luther King Jr. and exploring our five senses through reading, games, and hands-on sensory activities. The children especially enjoyed circle time, puzzle time, and engaging in their familiar daily routines. It was a week filled with meaningful learning, curiosity, and lots of smiles as we learned and played together.

🌨️🐻‍❄️ Weekly Highlights – Polar Animals Theme

This week, we wrapped up our Polar Animals theme! The children learned about seals, killer whales, snowy owls, and polar bears, and discovered some interesting similarities among them. We talked about how many polar animals have white coloring to help them hide and hunt, how animal mothers care for their babies as they grow, and how changing climates can make survival more challenging.

Throughout the week, the children enjoyed group discussions, coloring activities, and hands-on learning. Today’s highlight was making “snow” and playing with miniature polar animals, creating their own imaginative polar habitats.

Along with our theme, we continued practicing gross motor skills through active play and movement. We also worked on alphabets and numbers, with a special focus on early reading skills.

✨ Special Highlight: The children enjoyed their first yoga class this week, focusing on movement, balance, and calming breaths.

It was a fun, engaging, and enriching week of learning!
