THANK YOU, OZARKS! ✈️🇺🇸

What a weekend.

To every person who walked through the gates, looked to the sky, cheered for our performers, brought your family, supported our vendors and helped make the Branson Wings of Pride Air Show presented by CoxHealth possible — thank you.

Over the past three days, we watched incredible aviation fill the skies over the Ozarks. We celebrated our military, honored those who serve, inspired the next generation of aviators and made memories we hope your families will talk about for years to come.

An event like this takes an incredible team. Thank you to our performers, sponsors, volunteers, first responders, law enforcement, airport staff, vendors, partners and everyone behind the scenes who worked countless hours to bring this show to life.

But most of all, thank YOU for showing up.

You came from near and far. You filled the flight line. You cheered. You waved flags. You looked up.

And you made the 2026 Branson Wings of Pride Air Show one we will never forget.

From all of us — thank you for being part of it. ❤️🤍💙

Show us your best shots below!

Today, we honor the life and legacy of Col. Gene Hartman, who passed away early this morning.

Gene lived an extraordinary life of service to aviation and to our nation.

As a U.S. Air Force pilot, he flew 300 combat missions, including 100 over North Vietnam. He was one of the few Air Force pilots cross-trained to fly from a Navy aircraft carrier, and of all the aircraft he flew, the F-105 Thunderchief remained his favorite.

But when Gene spoke about the proudest moment of his military career, it wasn't about one of his own accomplishments. It was about helping save the career of a fellow pilot — a pilot who would later go on to fly with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds.

Gene ultimately retired as a Colonel after serving at the Pentagon, but his commitment to aviation and service never ended.

For 51 years, Gene was a member of the Civil Air Patrol, giving his time and knowledge to generations of young people. He established a scholarship fund to give cadets the opportunity to take a tremendous step in their own aviation journeys: soloing an airplane. Today, three cadets who have benefited from Gene's generosity are here with us.

That may be one of the greatest reflections of his legacy. After a lifetime spent flying, Gene made sure others would have the opportunity to take flight, too.

We are incredibly grateful for everything Col. Gene Hartman gave to our squadron, to aviation and to our country.

Blue skies and tailwinds, Colonel. Thank you for your service, your sacrifice and the legacy you leave behind. You will be deeply missed.
