Well we don't have many birds this year. The crops have good and food has been on the ground for months. I really don't know what's different this year. We have had many great hunts following the same recipe as I have done this year. It's really disappointing after all the work and money but I've done all I know to do. With all that being said we still plan on shooting tomorrow at noon and see what the good Lord has in store for us. See yaw tomorrow

Good lord blessed us again with an awesome hunt. Picked up 387 birds in the rain.barely enough hunters for the limits. Gotta brag on my crew also for doing great job on cleaning up my land afterward. These guys will even clean up old hulls from previous years. Wouldn't trade my guys for any club in the world

Attention!!! Attention!!!! Attention!!!Attention!!!! Payment for your Sorghum Road Dove Hunt yearly membership is due no later than April 15, 2024. If not paid or arrangements made prior than the 15th of April 2024 then your spot will become available to the next person on the waiting list. Membership was able to stay the same as last year's at only $70. Also if any member finds time and would like to help with the field it is greatly appreciated but is not a requirement. If you have any questions or to arrange payment please contact Tony Hern at 731-441-0353 or if you need to pay by card (card processing fees applied) please call 731-213-2142. Reminder and Dues Increase for all 2023 Sorghum Road Dove Field Memberships!!!! The deadline to renew your dove field membership is April 15,2023!!!! Due to overall cost of putting in, maintaining and everything for each hunt. Yearly membership dues have increase to $70.00 per member that is at least 18 years old or that will turn 18 before or on opening day of the 2023 Dove Season. All memberships that are 17 and younger are free only with parent or guardian membership is active or current and will require a parent or guardian, that assumes any and all injuries or liabilities of the minor's any time there on the property, to be with them at all times. If your membership dues are not paid on or before April 15, 2023, you will forfeit your spot for all of the hunts for the 2023 season. On April 16, 2023, all forfeited membership spots will become available for new members. Approval or denial of new membership's is solely up to the owner/manager of the Sorghum Road Dove Field. Any member that needs help paying membership dues due to illness, loss of work, hard times, etc. call or text 731-441-0353 or call or text 931-209-8428. If approved, then membership remains active and current for 2023 season. To renew membership's call or text Owner/Manager- Tony Hern- at 731-441-0305. With membership renewal approval from Owner/Manager acceptable payment options are: Pay Cash to Tony Hern, Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, Pay Over Phone via Debit or Credit Card, In Person Card Processing, or can also make payment at Tater's Archery via cash or card processing as well. Any and all additional processing charges, convivence fees, bank charges, or any other processing charges will be added to the $70.00 membership renewal cost and is to be paid by the buyer. If like to renew membership or have any questions or concerns, please contact Tony Hern-Owner/Manager- at 731-441-0353. Field will be open tomorrow friday sep. 10th at 1pm if any of the members want to try and shoot a few more before the rain and cool front pushes the birds out. Watched several birds this evening so there are a few left to shoot but i dont expect it to be a massacre by any means.

We dont have enough birds for another hunt tomorrow. Hopefully we will by the weekend. Ill bushhog more sunflowers in couple days as these will sprout will the rain.

Not the hunt we were hoping for but we ended up with 205 birds with maybe 15 shooters
