For eight years, the City of Hohenwald and the Friends of the Lewis County Public Library & Archives have worked together to bring Rock The Lot to our community. Take a look back at a few memories from the journey.

Free family activities
Free live music
Free fireworks

Bring a lawn chair. Bring the kids. Bring your friends and neighbors.

If you'd like dinner, dessert, or a cold drink, our food vendors will be ready to serve you. But if you simply want to enjoy an evening of music, community, and celebration, you're welcome to do that too. 🙂

We believe everyone should be able to enjoy a great 4th of July.

When people gather for Rock The Lot, it's easy to see the music, the family activities, and the fireworks.

What you don't always see are the people behind the scenes spending hours preparing, setting up, welcoming guests, and helping everything run smoothly.

Rock The Lot has never been about one person or one organization. Since 2018, it has been a community effort made possible by people who care about creating something special for their neighbors.

As we count down to July 4, we'd like to say thank you to the people behind Rock The Lot. ❤️

One of our favorite sights each year isn't on the stage... It's seeing children dance while live music echoes across the town.

Before the fireworks begin, you'll find families gathered in lawn chairs, neighbors catching up, and kids moving to the music without a care in the world.

It's more than a concert. It's a place where generations come together and a summer evening feels like the kind of memory that never goes out of style.
