📢 Important update for all of our pages:

After nearly a decade of taking the time to engage, answer questions, and respond to concerns — including being told by many that we were the only expo that ever bothered to respond
— we have made the decision to no longer interact with anti-pet, anti-expo, or anti-show individuals on social media or via email.

This was not a decision made lightly. Unfortunately, repeated bad-faith interactions, coordinated harassment, attempts to scam vendors or food vendors, fake social media reports and
individuals openly admitting to deliberately wasting our time and/or trying to get us blocked on social media (more times then I can count this year) made it clear that continued engagement
serves no productive purpose. Ironic when it's those on self-proclaimed moral high ground resorting to lieing and attempted theft.

This helps those that fit in the anti groups as well since you're negative comments boost the very thing you say your against 👍

We remain committed to our vendors, our attendees, and the responsible exotic pet community. That is where our time and energy belongs.
OUTSIDE FOOD VENDORS - PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NEVER A CHARGE FROM US AT ANY VENUE (unless one starts impossing fees on us).

The above is the reason we've had to set many post to not allow comments and have been limited in responding over the past several weeks.
From now on we will just be blocking ALL of the anti crowd major or minor.

This is the time of year I dislike.
So many uninformed, ill planned purchases.
Half bought for kids far too young to care for them!
SO many idiots dyeing things for a fast dollar.

So many irresponsible people that end up dumping baby bunnies, duck and chicks in parks or at shelters.

The mess gives the pet hobby or industry a bad mark that's hard to argue against!

IF you really want 1 have a 10 year plan for it!
Don't treat it like it's cool on easter then it doesn't matter.

Know they p**p, they eat, they grow. - plan or buy a stuffed animal!

ALL FREE through April while we introduce the site and look for any bugs that weren't found in a small test group.

Got delayed a little after the storms but been back at it 👍👍

Been some testing ...
Putting some finishes on the site.

Search function added to Auction and Market sections for convenience rather than just a site search.
Added expo pick up option to searches.
Added - morph tags to market and auction - for better searches.

Added better/fuller edit options for market and auction listings.
Added - watch list for auctions.
Finished the credit system.
Added - referrals to credit system

found a bug - showed link rather than image notice in messages - fixed.

Added accepted payment options back to auctions and market.

Added average seller response time to profiles 12hrs, 24hrs, 48hr and slow - over a 30-day average.

Have ideas? Things you'd like to see - let us know, about done!
Far easier to add/change things before thing go live.
(thanks to some of the constantly deleted guinea pigs 😂)

Added more to the info sections.

Things should be fully ready for public use soon!

We have limited public comments on this page and several other not to keep input down but to keep the pages up, seems like some books 😉 are on a crusade lately to restrict pages for comments regarding animals or expo's whether the $ale$ word is used or not.

ALMOST done with our new site "network"

The new expo site with discussion groups, market, auctions is mostly done!

Putting in some final functions 👍

Been getting input from expo pages, paid ads, friends so we've had several but open to more for a brief time before public launch.

Will be FREE and paid areas.

Free - discussion groups, buying in markets, bidding on auctions, info pages for beginners, etc..

Will be Paid Selling, Auctioning.
BELOW industry standard costs.
Main reasons for pay:
Costs (if it takes off who knows what hosting will cost)
Control, eliminating bad sellers.
NO auction % charges, that's just a money grab.

Seller profiles have a rating system, by buyers
1-5 stars
They can also have (or not have) verified badges:

Paypal verified -pretty much industry wide - just verifies they have a legit paypal account.

Expo vendor - verified - this person does in fact exist and do business in person at our expo's.

NOT a super coder by any means so there's a few hundred hours into this at this point.

Site is "basically" done.
But adding things to a live site is a lot more problematic than adding before it's live and testing for bugs.

Sales and auction listings also have a pickup at expo option 😎

Unfortunately, it's not possible to (accurately) pull all their rates anymore 🙁 but you can easily see who offers what service from shipping zip code to receiving zip code .

Spending a lot of time, getting our new site together.
If any Reptile fans that pay attention to lighting and have spare time or you're just bored 😅

Still somewhat in "beta" as it's rechecked for accuracy, so any input is welcomed.
(tiny thing from the site - to hopefully help out beginners later)

Celebrating our 8th year on Facebook. Thank you for your continuing support. We could never have made it without you. 🙏🤗🎉

Simpler time back when we first started this page and the other related pages and FB groups.
Since then some of the groups have been , closed or closed and reopened.

Lately it's been rounds of limits and restrictions to expo pages.

But here we are 👍

Aquarium volume
Aquarium glass thickness
a few breeding outcome/morph calculators
Zip to zip shipping time/option calculator

A searchable sellers directory that stores info on past sales, so if someone is looking for say an Albino Pink belly sideneck turtle if there are none on the site, people can still find sellers that have offered them in the past.

Lots of small stuff 😂

Have some people asking how the new site is going 😂

It's going - slowly but going.
It's grown into more than originally planned.
The February 6 day power outage and horrid internet that followed for a while slowed things down, as did adding features.

MOST of the features we want are now there - search, auction, sales, discussion, messaging, calculators, expo info area, seller profiles, seller rating system, seller database.... some other stuff.

Some free, some paid

Few screenshots of what's going on now .

Hopefully won't take too much longer but it's been a lot of typing, editing, testing and starting over when functions clash to get where it is now .
