Allis Cotton Days

Allis Cotton Days See these machines and more in action at Allis Cotton Days!

Allis-Chalmers was a leader and innovator in cotton harvesting machinery from the 1950s through the early 1980s, designed from the beginning with features elevating them above the competition.

ATTENTION all fans of classic orange farm power! Shirts for this year's show are on the way! This year's design features a 100% cotton shirt with a model 707, Allis's first self-propelled cotton stripper, which set an industry standard for cotton stripper design at their introduction in 1965. We have adult sizes from Small through 3XL, and they are $20 paid in advance, or $25 at the show. To get yours shipped to you or reserve for pick up at the show, just send us a direct message, or e-mail [email protected] with your name, size request, and shipping address if you want it shipped. I must say, I couldn’t be happier with all the positive support Allis Cotton Days received last year. I’m glad so many people were able to come from across the US and Canada to see these machines that not only mean so much to me, but really revolutionized cotton harvesting in Oklahoma and west Texas in the 1960s-80s. Hopefully the 2026 show works just as well! I may even incorporate Gleaners into the field demos and thresh some sesame or milo. Mark your calendars for Nov. 13-14, 2026.

You won't want to miss our Winter 2026 Edition of Old Allis News! It includes features on Allis Cotton Days in Oklahoma, A-C farm toys, memories of the Loretta Lynn ranch and the massive Cornish pumping engine built by E.P. Allis. Not a subscriber? We’ll be posting more photos and videos from the show later, but until then here is the map! We estimate we had 150 guests total over the two day show, and we encouraged everyone to mark the state they were from on this map. We had guests from Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Ontario, Canada! What a great turn out! Thank you to everyone who came and showed interest in these bright orange machines and Allis-Chalmers heritage!

Two special photos: The first are the winners of the longest distance traveled contest. Wayne and Brenda of Ontario, Canada travelled approximately 1,330 miles to attend the show and see Allis cotton st*****rs in action. The prize was a highly detailed 1:64 scale model 860 cotton stripper, donated by John Valek of Valek Custom Farm & Ranch Toys!
The second photo is our show founder, Creston Moore with Chuck Zindel of Illinois. Chuck was an Allis employee in the Milwaukee office, and he got to travel the country as a tractor and parts sales rep during his career with Allis-Chalmers. How neat to have someone from the head office in Milwaukee attending this event!

A big thank you to everyone who came and and showed their support at Allis Cotton Days this past Friday and Saturday, and thank you to everyone who brought equipment! We couldn’t have made this a success without your help. It hard to keep track of all the people coming and going, but the closest count we got was 150 combined attendees for both days! Way more than we were planning on!
A lot of new friends were met, along with old friends, and the cotton stripping went great! Due to an overwhelmingly positive response and dozens of requests for a show again next year, we intend to do that. Mark your calendars for the 13th and 14th of November 2026, and we will plan on doing this again!
