And just like that, the 14th Hobart Festival of Women Writers has come to a close.
Over three days, writers, readers, poets, teachers, and lifelong learners filled the bookstores, galleries, churches, and gathering spaces of Hobart with creativity, curiosity, and conversation. From workshops and readings to spontaneous discussions over coffee and walks through the Book Village, the festival once again proved that the written word has a remarkable way of bringing people together.
Thank you to our presenters, volunteers, sponsors, attendees, booksellers, and the entire Hobart community for making this year's festival such a success. Whether you traveled across the country or just down the road, we are grateful you chose to spend the weekend with us.
As we pack up another festival, we're already looking ahead to next year. Until then, keep writing, keep reading, and keep supporting the voices and stories that make our world richer.
