The Crooked River Gathering

9-25 has been proclaimed Dolly Parton Day and we wanted to shout out our appreciation to everyone who participated in our Book and School Supply drive at The Crooked River Gathering in Dolly's honor. Everything was carefully sorted through and bags and boxes of labeled picture books, activity and coloring books, school supplies and even some cash were dropped off at Maine Needs this week for them to distribute.

Additionally, we will be adding a Little Free Library on the Crooked River site next year filled with books about nature and music for guests to enjoy while visiting.

Thanks to all who participated. Keep spreading the kindness of Dolly and the Crooked River Gathering!

Wow Crooked River! We couldn’t be more moved by the strong community spirit that gathered together this year to enjoy a fabulous lineup of Bluegrass and old-time musicians, and to share skills knowledge and community with each other through pretty much every kind of weather.

From unforgettable performances, to workshops on bikes and bread and blacksmithing to name a few… and a ton of just sitting around the campfire, jamming and catching up under the stars after a year apart. ❤️

It was really quite a weekend and we thank you for choosing to spend it with us! All the volunteers, performers, educators, teachers and staff that show up to be with one another are what makes this event so special and unique! 🙏

We can’t wait to see you September 2nd-5th 2027! 🙌

It’s been an absolutely gorgeous day here at crooked.river.arts . The Hazel Project Band is currently treating everyone to wonderful set and there’s so much more on the way into the evening! Plenty of time left to come and join us this weekend! 🪕🏕️
