RC Enthusiasts! 🚗🚙🏎️🚓
Hey Summerfest Friends! Can you help us out?
We are looking for 5 Volunteers to help organize, build, and sources items for our RC contest. We have volunteers to help run the actual event, but if it’s something we want to have every year, we need a crew to really take charge of it!

This course would be for kids and adults, with prizes with different categories! We are really hoping this is something kids would grow up doing and coming back for, as well as grown ups.

We are happy to help sponsor a local NH club that might already be doing this as well. It’s a four day event! Let’s chat! Feel free to tag a friend who might want to participate!

It is with great sadness that we must share the passing of our beloved longest running volunteer, Donald “Don” Ager. There was never a task Don didn’t help out with, a leader in the importance of teamwork, and who inspired us all to do our best for our community. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Meg and their family, who are also long time volunteers for decades. We love and will miss you, Don ♥️ Here is a favorite from our dear friend from one of our favorite places down at the field.

“Donald served in the US Navy for 21 years, retiring as a Senior Chief Petty Officer (CTACS), and also retiring from the US Postal service after 19 years. After his federal service, Donald was an active member of many organizations including the Hillsboro Lions Club (PCC, Progressive Melvin Jones and serving as a District Governor), the American Legion, The Loyal Order of the Moose (Pilgrim degree), the VFW, the Fleet Reserve Association, the Boy Scouts of America.”

You know it was a great weekend when everyone can’t help but hug goodbye 🥹

Thank you for keeping us safe and helping us raise so much money for lots of great causes within NH and our town. We love you so much Hillsboro and all of our surrounding communities!
