This may just be, without a doubt one of most humbling and well-written reviews of our show that we have ever seen.
A couple quotes from this article that nearly made us cry-
"Before the 8 a.m. line-up, the staff had already established the tone of the day. They were communicative, energetic and, more importantly, engaging. There is a difference between being processed into a venue and being welcomed into one. Here, even before the show officially began, the latter was winning."
"The connective tissue was less a single franchise than a shared kind of affection, for comics, cult movies, practical craft, collecting and the physical objects people keep because a story mattered to them."
"The meet-and-greet side of the event benefited from the same lack of stiffness. These encounters can sometimes become visibly transactional: step forward, place item down, sign, photograph, move. At Super Jersey, the better moments had room in them. They felt casual rather than forced, which matters because the difference between receiving an autograph and having an experience is usually measured in seconds, not minutes."
