So much happening at the Westside Beer & Soda Fest today! Doors open at 10am. Kids music with Chuck Cheesman at 11am, and the LAIKA movies start rolling at noon with Coraline , ParaNorman at 2pm, The Boxtrolls at 4pm, and Kubo and the Two Strings at 6pm. More great music from The Good Dogs at noon, Slim Bacon at 3:30, and New World Aviation Committee at 6:30. And of course, great local craft beers and sodas all day long. See you at the Festival!

Music starts at 4:15 with Doug Johnson, and continues at 5:30 with Chuck Cheesman and 7 with New World Aviation Committee ... And of course, local craft beers and sodas from West of the Willamette. It's a great way to cap off your Friday with family and friends!

We're so excited to be pouring at our Westside Beer and Soda Festival this weekend! Deep Space Brewing is the family-friendly brewery located inside Out Of This World Pizza . In a universe full of unlimited combinations and ingredients, Brewer Michael Mellott has spent the last ten years and more experimenting and crafting beer as a homebrewer. His experience has led him to make various thirst quenching beers that could satisfy any palate with his malt-forward style and befitting hoppiness. What the heck is an Alt? Sometimes referred to as an Amber or Brown Ale, this Old-Style German beer is smooth and medium bodied with a complex malt flavor that will leave you with a clean palate for more.

Three Stooges Get Fresh, Pale Ale
Pranks abound when you are forced to entrust three friends with the task of dry-hopping your first fresh hop beer. What's not a prank is the supercharged citrus flavor and aroma from the fresh Amarillo hops. Drink up! The fresh hop season is short!

Announcing a new kind of craft brewer festival – the Westside Beer and Soda Fest, a family-focused festival open to all ages, featuring beers and sodas brewed west of Portland.
Great NW beers are not limited to Portland, Bend, and Hood River. There are some amazing brewers and breweries just over the west hills of Portland. To highlight this Westside movement, several brewers came together to create a unique beer festival.
Brewer Michael Mellott from Deep Space Brewing had a vision to create a family focused festival, accessible to all ages. “With our brewery located inside of Out of This World Pizza, we have the ideal location to make this a completely family-friendly event. We’ve included local craft soda makers and street entertainment, so there’s something for every member of the family to enjoy at the festival.”
The Westside Beer and Soda Fest is a passport-style event, with passports for both local craft beers and local craft soda passports, and will also feature food, activities for all ages, music, and entertainment, and the ever-popular Out of This World arcade and play area.
A portion of the festival proceeds will benefit Candlelighters for Children with Cancer. This amazing non-profit organization “provides support, education, advocacy, and hope to all children and their families affected by childhood cancer in Oregon and SW Washington.”

Advance purchasers receive the VIP package which includes additional exclusive tasters, discounted food prices, discounted Deep Space Brewing merchandise, $5 arcade card for future use, and entry into a drawing for a 4 pack of Seattle Mariners tickets generously donated by Pepsi!
Beer passports (for ages 21 and over only) are available for $20 and include souvenir logo glass and one taster pour of every featured beer (12 total). Advance purchase/VIP passports receive 3 additional taster pours from the VIP exclusive beer taps. Full pours of the featured beers available for additional purchase. Soda passports (all ages) are available for $10 and include souvenir logo mug and one taster pour of every featured soda (6 total). Advance purchase/VIP passports receive 1 additional taster pour from the VIP exclusive soda tap. Full pours of the featured sodas available for additional purchase. Limited availability of select featured beers and sodas will also be available for bottle purchase to enjoy at home.
