While the festival's mission is to support food tourism in the Central Ohio area and support small businesses, another very essential component to the festival is to help build awareness and support local non-profit organizations that serve th e Central Ohio community. Since the festival’s inception in 2011, over $115,000 has been donated to local charitable organizations.
