My "THANKS" to those members that showed up last Wednesday night for the club dinner and brought cookies, cupcakes, brownies and other items for our annual Patton Cookie Drive.

Moe and I delivered them on Thursday and the departments were very appreciative of the items and our commitment to provide emergency communcations when they need it. Looks like we'll have a few employees come to the club to get their license.

I want to wish all our members and followers a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Also...the club facility will be closed on December 25 and January 1 due to the holidays.

ATTENTION:

FINALLY!!! I am able to announce the 2023 CBARC Field Day site information. I am still waiting for one more signature on the agreement, but have been told to go ahead and advertise.

We will be setting up at California State University San Bernardino at their Observatory site. It took a lot of work for this to happen so please consider stopping by or better yet come help us setup, operate or tear down. We need all the help we can get. The weather looks like it will be in the low 80’s which is unusual for this time of year…so no heat problems like in past years. We have a new antenna to show off and I think you’ll be amazed on it’s design and function.

PLEASE go to our website of www.w6jbt.org and look on the front page for the link to instructions for this years event.

We hope to see our members stop by and help or just visit….look forward to you coming by.

Thanks for your patience…… Jeff

GOOD NEWS!!! We are NO longer required to go through Health Screening at the club.
However...we are still required to wear face masks while on campus. ...... Some of us look better wearing a mask anyway!!
