Our talented HKTV students have been hard at work creating Public Service Announcements for ASB, and we are excited to share their final projects with you!

We would love for you to take a few minutes to view the PSAs and cast your vote for your favorite. This is a wonderful opportunity to support our students’ creativity, storytelling, and production skills.

The State Department of Education recently released results from state monitoring systems that track school performance levels, and I’m pleased to recognize eight local schools that earned standing as Schools of Distinction from the 2024-25 school year for high performance, notable academic growth and/or significant year-over-year improvements. Burr District Elementary School in Haddam, Daisy Ingraham School in Westbrook, East Haddam Elementary, Gildersleeve School in Portland, Haddam-Killingworth High School, Killingworth Elementary School, Mile Creek School in Lyme/Old Lyme and Westbrook Middle School all received this notable highlight. Congratulations to all of the students, teachers and staff achieving these positive results – keep up the good work!
