Here is our guess at the North Carolina fight schedule.

This post is based on rumors, guesses and our understanding of tradition. Don't make plans without double checking with the site host.

Plan on Hickory Bot Battles. Fairy and Plastic Ants on Sep 11 and Full Combat Ant, Beetle and Hockey Bots on Sept 12. This event space will be smaller than last year as robots are in the west wing due to dinosaur exhibit in the main building

We've also heard a rumor of a late fall event at UNC-Charlotte, the "Casual Lobby" that will be only for new bots and beginners.

Check out what the non-combat robots are doing, they are all peacefully partying together. Looks like some CLT FIRST teams have a whole month of demos at different Rec centers.

[May 16] Queen City Robotics Alliance is hosting FREE Robot Block Parties. Experience hands-on robot fun, meet robotics competition teams, and explore STEM topics. All ages welcome!

May 16, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Marion Diehl Rec Center, 2219 Tyvola Road, Charlotte, NC. Can't make it? There will be 5 more at different rec centers through September.

What to expect:

🤖 Interactive Robot Demonstrations: Take control and drive robots yourself, guided by experienced team members.
🤖 Meet the Teams: High school robotics teams will showcase their creations and share their passion for technology.
🤖 Hands-On Activities: Engage in STEM-based challenges and learn the basics of robotics in a fun, supportive environment.
