SCHOOL'S OUT! Keep your kids active and improving this summer with my Summer Basketball Academy. 🔥

The Summer Program includes 12 sessions running from July 7th–August 13th. Small group private training sessions are one hour long and held twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings in Hickory, NC. 🏀

Classes for all skill levels: 💪

Foundational (ages 7–9): 5–6 PM
Foundational (ages 10–12): 6–7 PM
Developmental (ages 13-15): 7–8 PM
Advanced (ages 16+ & adults): 8–9PM

Academy participants (Hmong youth 15U) will receive priority for an exclusive invitation to showcase their development on an NBA court at the Spectrum Center during our Hmong All-Star Event (TBD). 🐝

YOUTH UPDATE! The 10-12 and 13-15 age divisions are fully booked. We currently have one remaining team spot for ages 16-17 and two team spots for ages 7-9. 🏀

Don’t miss your opportunity to earn a chance to play on an NBA court at the Spectrum Center! Top youth standout players from this event will be selected to participate in the Hmong All-Star event. 🎫

Registration is now open for the YOUTH 3V3 DIVISIONS! This year, we’re introducing four age groups: 7–9, 10–12, 13–15, and 16–17. 🏀

Limited to four teams per division. Each team is guaranteed three pool play games. The top two teams will advance to the Finals. Certified referees will be provided. 🔥

In-state player fee: $50
Out-of-state player fee: $40
Age group 7-9: FREE

Discounted fees are available for siblings and for players enrolled in my basketball Academy. 📢

10 minute games with stoppages on dead balls. Played under rules “similar” to FIBA 3x3 with continuous play. First to 21 wins, or highest score at the end of regulation. 🏆

Youth participants may play in older age divisions but are not allowed to play in younger ones. Age eligibility is determined as of August 1st. Teams may consist of up to five players. ALL participants must be of Hmong descent. ⛹🏻⛹🏻‍♀️

Standout players from this event will receive exclusive invitations to participate in an exhibition game at the Hmong All-Star event at Spectrum Center (TBD), home of the Charlotte Hornets. 🐝

The Hornets have the 14th and 18th picks this year. Should they stay put and draft at those spots, or package the picks to move into the top 10? 🔥

This draft is deep, so I’d personally keep the picks or trade them for an impact player. After years of rebuilding, the Hornets finally have some momentum. I think it’s time to focus on making a serious playoff push! 💪
