Calling all wedding professionals! We're getting ready for the Hickory Wedding Expo on Sunday, September 13, and we're looking for more great businesses to join us.
If you work with couples planning weddings in Hickory and the surrounding region, we'd love to have you be part of the show. And you definitely don't have to be located in Hickory — if you serve couples within roughly 50 miles of the area, this could be a great fit for your business.
We're especially looking for bakers, beauty professionals, photographers and venues right now, but we're accepting applications from all types of wedding businesses.
One of the things that's really important to us is making sure our exhibitors get value beyond simply setting up a booth for four hours.
Every participating vendor receives our attendee lead list after the show. Because attendees register in advance, we're able to collect more than just a name and email address. We ask for their wedding date, phone number, their role in the wedding, and — most importantly — which wedding services they're currently looking for.
That gives you the opportunity to follow up with people who may actually be looking for exactly what you offer.
We're also building something new: a Wedding Vendor Directory on the Hickory Shows website. Businesses that participate in the Expo will receive an enhanced listing with an image, description and link to their business, giving you another way to be discovered after the Expo is over.
Booths start at $650 for a 10' x 10' space and include pipe and drape. Power is available where needed at no additional charge.
