Winners from the 10k got their picture taken with Miss HerrinFesta Italiana Addison Osman!

The first place male and female of the 10k from this year!
Charles Parrish from Belleville, Illinois was 40 seconds from the course record with a time of 30:53.
Amy Herren from Cape Girardeau, Missouri was our first female with a time of 41:52.

**Will volunteer for shirt**

Picked up the shirts today from Silkworm and they look good. The remaining shirts that I have will be reserved for volunteers. If you would like to volunteer at an aid station, traffic control, running with the kids mile, or clean up, please reach out.

If you still want to register for the race, there is a no shirt option to save $5.

Ordering shirts is the trickiest part of race directing. Trying to order enough so most runners get a shirt. Including those runners waiting on the weather. 😉 Currently there are 161 runners registered. Including 83 sign ups since I placed the order of 185 shirts, 10 days ago.
It will be a good turnout for the road races and I can’t wait to see everyone.

Registration for this years race is now open. Looking forward to another great year of the Road Races with a race for everyone. The 10k starts at 7:30, the 5k walk starts at 7:45, the Park Avenue Mile will start around 9:20 with the kids mile starting shortly after. Come join us on Memorial Day, May 27th.

I picked up the awards today. The 10k awards are top 5 overall male and female then 5 year age groups. The RRCA State Championship Park Avenue Mile will have the RRCA Awards. Which are Open, 40+, 50+, and 60+. The age groups for the mile are 5 years. Then all of the kids that conquer the mile will get a trophy!!
