Jump Off Rock is back on Saturday, May 8, 2027, and we are bringing even more excitement to race day.

NEW FOR 2027: THE INAUGURAL 5K!

You now have three ways to experience Jump Off Rock. Take on the scenic downhill Half Marathon, compete in the 10K or join us for the brand new 5K. All three races finish in the heart of downtown Hendersonville.

FAST RUNNERS, THIS ONE IS FOR YOU!

The 10K will feature an $800 prize purse for the top three male and female finishers.

First Place: $200
Second Place: $125
Third Place: $75

A $200 bonus is also waiting for anyone who breaks an established Half Marathon or 10K course record.

Every participant can look forward to a super cool, custom finisher medal, one-of-a-kind Jump Off Rock Dri-Fit event shirt when registering before the deadline, goody bag, complimentary shuttles and professional chip timing.

After the race, stick around downtown for live music, a complimentary b**r for participants 21+, local downtown businesses and the Hendersonville Farmers Market just a few blocks away.

Your miles will also support Special Olympics North Carolina, the YMCA of Western North Carolina and Blue Ridge Humane Society. Together, our goal is to raise $18,000 for these three organizations through the 2027 event.

Okay, it’s time to spill the tea…

A 5K is joining the Jump Off Rock Half Marathon & 10K presented by Hunter Subaru & UNC Health Pardee in 2027!

We’re also excited to welcome Special Olympics NC as a new nonprofit partner. More details are coming soon, but we can already tell you this is going to make race day even more meaningful for our community.

Nothing beats spending time outdoors with good people and a purpose. 💙

We loved teaming up with for the Jump Off Rock Trash Dash! We picked up trash, shared plenty of laughs, and enjoyed the beauty of the place we’re lucky enough to call home.

Big thanks to every volunteer who came out and helped make a difference. This community always shows up in the best way. 🙌

The mountains showed up for us today. 💙

From Jump Off Rock to Main Street, today was full of smiling faces, PRs, emotional finish lines and runners soaking up every mile of this Mother’s Day weekend tradition.

And… THREE course records were broken today. 🔥
• Men’s Half Marathon
• Men’s 10K
• Women’s 10K

Thank you to every runner that spent your Saturday with us in Hendersonville, NC. Whether you were racing for a PR, running with family or just out there enjoying the experience… you made today special.

Congrats as well to all of the Appalachian Trilogy runners — 2 races down, 2 more to go!

Huge thanks to the Hendersonville Family YMCA, Friends of Laurel Park and Blue Ridge Humane Society volunteers. High fives to Hunter Subaru, UNC Health Pardee and Oklawaha Brewing Company for all your support!
