It’s been nearly a month since our last show, but it feels a lifetime away, now.

Since the arrival of Hurricane Helene, we have been busy picking up the pieces of the Songstage as well as of our own personal lives. We wish we could announce that we have come out unscathed, but that is not the case. With extensive flooding much has been damaged or lost, and there isn’t a timetable for when will we be able to return to normal, as is the case for much of our home here in Western North Carolina.

We have two more artists that will be coming out with videos on our YouTube channel in the future, .at.sunset and , which we are still very excited and proud to share, but there is much immediate work still to be done here.

We hope that anyone who reads this takes time to reach out and help your community or donate if you can.

Hailing from the mountains of WNC, Ci******es @ Sunset’s music juxtaposes driving guitar riffs, drums that swerve in-and-out of country and punk, with swelling violin. But it’s not just about the sound, Dellinger’s semi-autobiographical lyrics anchor the band in both time and place. Their live shows turn any venue into an intimate and energized space, amalgamating shoegaze, old time, and indie rock into a whirlwind of sound.
