Tour da Delta Bike Ride

The Mile Zero bike ride is April 11th in Helena. Registration is on BikeReg and there are very nice gravel and paved road routes through the National Forest there.

We had a fun group site seeing bike ride tour on Saturday. Everyone got to see the the River Park, Merci Train Car, the Helena Museum, and we rode out to Storm Creek Lake and had a great rest stop with snacks and drinks for everyone!

We have a community cleanup planned for this Saturday from 8 am till 11 pm and we’re meeting at the King Biscuit Blues Office. We will also be giving T shirts from Keep Arkansas Beautiful to all our volunteers!

Tour da Delta will be on Saturday morning at 9:30 am, October 11th this year. We will meet at the Thrive office on Ohio Street and it will be a fun group 25 mile site seeing tour. We will have a wonderful rest stop with snacks and drinks for everyone at Storm Creek Lake and on the way back we will do a group tour of the Helena Museum and the Merci Train Car. The registration is on the BikeReg website. We will also have 13 E Bikes available for rent.

We had a wonderful and fun group site seeing tour this year on October 12th. We toured the River Park, Big Springs, Storm Creek Lake and the campgrounds, Freeman Playground, the Helena Museum and the Merci Train Car over at the American Legion Hut. The train car was a gift from France in 1949 for defending them in WW1 and WW2!

This year Tour da Delta will be a group gravel ride out to Storm Creek Lake and where the mouth of the Saint Francis River empties into the Mississippi River. We will have two rest stops along the way and will also stop at the River Park, Freeman Playground and the American Legion Hut to see the Merci Train Car that was a gift from France in 1949 for defending them in WW1 and WW2! The registration for the ride is only $15 and we will also offer a day pass into the King Biscuit Blues Festival for $20 and we will also have 14 E Bikes for rent for an additional $30 to the first 14 people that want them! It’s going to be a fun bike ride!

Always a fun time! Looking forward to it! We’ll be putting on a combination gravel bike ride and kayak ride on Storm Creek Lake. The ride will be called the Delta Roots Ride. It will start at 10 am that Saturday morning of April 22 from downtown Cherry Street by the entrance tent of the Festival.
