Summer Solstice Shootout is an annual adult, co-ed soccer tournament each summer with teams from Helena and around the state. The goal is to promote youth and adult soccer opportunities in the Helena Area and to raise funds for youth soccer scholarships. All funds raised in connection to the Summer Solstice Shootout will go to Helena youth soccer programs. These programs can use the funds to provi

de scholarships to underprivileged youth who would otherwise be unable to participate in soccer programs due to the costs. In 2016, we made a $1,150 donation to HYSA youth soccer scholarships and a $1,150 donation to YMCA youth soccer scholarships. Full and partial scholarships will benefit between 30 and 120 children. We hope to continue to grow this amount.

Montana Futbol Foundation is collecting donations of new or gently used cleats, futsal shoes, and soccer balls in all sizes to donate to the New Vision School and Sports Club in Arusha, Tanzania (see attached flyer). We will have a drop off box at the Summer Solstice Shootout registration table for any donations you may have.
