Congrats to Skijor West! Wow! What an amazing turnout for their second race!! Here are all the team entries in Youth, Novice and Open 3D divisions. 86 teams, total. 10K added. Buckles for all division winners and more prizes from sponsors than we can almost manage!! Thanks to everyone for coming to race in West Yellowstone. The weather is perfect and there is TONS of snow. What a great location for a skijoring event.

Putting on a skijoring race takes a lot of work and cooperation from an entire team of people and supporters. Sometimes there are costs that need to be incurred in advance of the race, before any revenue is generated. This year, the Lewis & Clark County Fairgrounds Foundation incurred a cost of $750.00 that was lost due to the race having to be cancelled. However, we had three amazing sponsors step up and contribute all, or a portion, of their original sponsorship pledge that completely covered the $750.00. Thank you to Karen Murphy and the crew at First Community Bank, Bobbi Boutilier at Event Thyme Catering and Jamy Patterson of the PRG Group for being the heroes of a race that didn't happen. Don't forget that these events are not possible without countless hours put in by race organizers and other volunteers, and the amazing sponsors that provide most of the funding to pull of these races. Thank you to all!!

Unfortunately, the Last Chance Skijoring has now been added to the list of race casualties resulting from the dry and unusually warm winter. We are officially canceling the race scheduled for February 8th & 9th, 2020. We will not be rescheduling it. As you can see from the attached images, we have zero snow to work with at our track in Helena and the long term outlook is dismal, to say the least. We are grateful to all of our generous sponsors who committed to our event this year. We hope to have them back for next year's event! Best of luck to all of the remaining races on the calendar. See you in 2021!
