Alright folks, after much discussion we have decided to come back for 1 LAST HURRAH... August 15th, Sawyer County Fair Dirt dash for $1000 to win, 5th Turn and Figure8 BOTH for $800 to win, Forward/Backward for $300 finishing with the demo derby for $300 to win. Paying the top 3 in each event. Let's go out with a good one!!! See you all there!

The Sawyer County Fair is looking for volunteers and new Fair Board members!

We’re always looking for people who want to help keep the fairgrounds looking great and help make the fair successful for the community. Duties can include:
• Mowing and w**d eating
• Painting and pressure washing
• General maintenance and cleanup
• Helping during fair week

We have weekly work nights during the summer for a few hours one evening a week, and Fair Board meetings are held once a month throughout the year.

We are also currently in need of a Secretary for the Fair Board.

One of the major benefits of being involved is that you and your family receive free admission to the fair. Well it’s the only benefit if we’re being honest.

Jeremy wants nothing to do with any kind of recognition for all he does to help put on the grand stand events, but I don’t care! JR Excavating has been here at the fair for many years donating the time to make sure the pit is ready. We couldn’t do it with out Jeremy! We nominated him and the Wisconsin Association of Fairs awarded him with this award! Thank you Jeremy!
