Just a reminder for all Official: Hayesville High School seniors, applications are due this Wednesday, April 15th!

One of our favorite times of the year is here.

Today, the 2026 WNC Festival of Trees scholarship applications were officially delivered to Official: Hayesville High School, and we could not be more proud of the opportunity these scholarships provide for our local students.

Once again, this year, we are excited to offer scholarships to graduating seniors that support all post-graduation paths.

What does that mean?

It means that whether a student plans to attend a four-year university, enroll in a two-year college, pursue technical training, or enter the workforce after graduation, this scholarship program is designed to support their next step.

We believe success does not follow just one path. Every student’s journey is different, and every ambition deserves encouragement and support.

Applications are due April 15, 2026, and must be submitted to the Hayesville High School Guidance Counselor, Mrs. Cothren.

As always, we extend our deepest thanks to every sponsor, volunteer, and attendee of the WNC Festival of Trees. Your generosity and support make these scholarships possible, and we are incredibly grateful for the role you play in investing in the future of our community.

If you are wondering if we have a preferred retailer to purchase our trees from, I would say the answer is pretty clear from the 60 plus trees we have already purchased from Lowe's Home Improvement. Our 2026 event is almost completely stocked up & ready 🎄🎄

One quick fact, at the completion of our 2025 show, in addition to the scholarship funds raised, we have raffled off an estimated 200 trees. Those trees are now across the US from Charlotte, NC all the way to New York 👏👏

Update to one of the happenings at 2025 WNC Festival Of Trees 🎄

Today we delivered a $1,000 check to Kelly Crawford and family from our silent auction benefit tree. None of this would have been possible without the support our sponsor Jill Evans and family, our silent auction bidders, and final winner Kayla Lawlor.

It was so wonderful to see and speak to Kelly. She is improving every day and was very appreciate of the donation.

Today (Sunday) is the last day of the 2025 WNC Festival Of Trees

Our market has been restocked AND we have added a few more trees to the raflle so come on out and take your chance on winning a tree and helping our youth.

Our hours are 10:00-4:00 today and our raffle drawing will be live at the close of the show. The LAST bid will be take at 4:00 for all auction trees, no exceptions..

Please note: All trees must be picked up by Monday afternoon. There are other events happening at The Beal Center later in the week.
