What a magical weekend of music and community in our little river town! So many memorable moments, friendships made and collaborations started.

We were blessed with beautiful weather, attentive listeners, and exceptional performances by our talented artists.

Ed and I worked hard over the last year to bring this event to downtown Havana, Illinois and we couldn't have done it without our amazing sponsors and host venues. We ended yesterday with a beautiful round at the The Main Room followed by a killer performance by Matthew Curry and his band at the Stag Tap Beer Garden. Today's FREE Sunday Funday wraps up HSF 2023 with a final writers round at 3pm followed by Edward David Anderson & The Lonesome Whippoorwills at 4:30 out in the garden!

Good morning music lovers! What an amazing first day! We're back at it today at 10:30am with a set from Carrie Sue & The Wood Burners followed by the Songwriter Jam at 11 at the Cove Center. Be sure to stop in for breakfast next door at Stella Mae's Coffee shop and head down to the Havana Street Market to check out some of our local vendors!

It all starts today at 5pm with the Opening Reception at Lu Lu's Craft Beverage Co. followed by Songwriter Round 1 at 6pm! Then we'll head to the Stag Tap Beer Garden for A Celebration of the Songs of John Prine featuring Sean Canan, Edward David Anderson, Aaron Kelly, Gary Hunt and more.

*Songwriter Rounds require a Weekend Ticket, Band Showcases on Friday & Sat (8-11pm) are open to the public w/ a $10 cover at the door and all events on Sunday at the Beer Garden are Free and open to the public.

If you can't make the whole weekend the Fri/Sat 8pm band showcases in the Stag Tap Beer Garden are open to the public w/ a $10 cover AND the 3pm Sunday Funday is FREE & open to all.
