Pine Belt Pacers Petal Tuesday Group, 06.23.26 (and SoPro Run, 06.24.26).
The Petal group explored some new routes around town. They checked out the impressive newly completed walking path that stretches from Friendly Park to the bowling alley intersection. The following day, a group of strong and determined ladies took on a 3-mile run through downtown Hattiesburg. Awesome runs! πŸ€—

Longleaf Piney Resort, you are appreciated ❣️

Starting tomorrow morning (6/25), LPR will begin providing free bottled water on the Longleaf Trace while we await the (hopeful) reinstatement of the trail’s public water fountains.

We’re just west of the 10 mile marker, and we welcome any trail users who need a drink to stop by! We just ask that you consider others and take only what you need, as well as that you dispose of your bottles mindfully.

If you notice that the cooler is running low, please message us here (or Cheyenne directly) and we’ll get it refilled.

We love our trail and its patrons. We know you guys are the reason we get to be here, and we’ve got your backs!

Pine Belt Pacers Tuesday Run, 06.23.26. Dan celebrated his 81st birthday by proving that age is just a number and taking us on a run through the Southern Miss campus. Then we recovered the traditional way, by yelling at a soccer game and suffering through every minute until, thankfully, the best team came out on top. πŸ‡¨πŸ‡΄βš½πŸ˜‚πŸŽ‚πŸƒ

PBPacers Billboards Hills Workout, 06.22.26. Hot, humid, and basically soup outside. Yet the ladies attacked the workout like it was pie at a family reunion: smooth, steady, and smiling. Meanwhile, the guys looked strong for about the first half mile before those β€œwonderful” hills introduced themselves. From there, it was a scenic tour of huffing, puffing, and questioning life choices. πŸ˜†β›°οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ
