Camp Directors:
Abigail Lenz Allen is the co-founder of Center

Stage at Sacred Heart School, Arts instructor for smART Space at HAC, creator of Art Makes Art Materials Exchange and art instructor at the Hattiesburg Community Arts Center. Olivia Drinkwater is currently the music and theater director at Sacred Heart Catholic School, choral director at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and co-artistic director of Center Stage Performance Troupe. There will be one instructor for every five children enrolled in Camp Create Center Stage Summer Camp. What to Bring:
Campers should bring a refillable water bottle and comfortable, closed-toe shoes and clothing that are easy to move in (shorts and t-shirts are best). Snacks and water will be provided daily. Handbook: Please refer to the 'Camp Create Parent Handbook' to help us provide a safe and enjoyable camp experience for everyone and for important forms that you will need to sign and bring to camp on the first day of camp. This document will be emailed to you approximately 10 days before camp begins. Masks will be worn, and social distancing will be practiced during all HCAC summer camps and classes.

Our Ballet Basics & Creative Movement classes are the perfect first step into the world of dance. Designed especially for young children, these joyful, low-pressure classes focus on building confidence and creativity—without the stress of recitals or costumes.

With the spotlight on strong foundations and a love of movement, dancers develop proper posture, coordination, and balance while learning basic ballet vocabulary in a fun, age-appropriate way. Through imaginative activities, music, and guided exploration, children make new friends and discover the joy of expressing themselves through dance—all while having a wonderful time in class.

Our next 4-week session begins March 4. Spots fill quickly, and we would love to welcome your little dancer.
