Senior Event: Road to Happiness and Understanding Depression

Join us on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at 10 AM for a special senior event hosted by the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services.

This event will take place at Borough Hall, 414 S. York Road, Hatboro, PA 19040.

Depression is a medical condition that affects many older adults, but depression is not a normal part of growing older. This presentation examines factors that put older adults at an increased risk of depression, explains how to detect depressive symptoms, and reveals methods that help those affected begin to feel like themselves again.

Attention Seniors! The Borough of Hatboro has some exciting events planned for the month of September & October!
- Chair Yoga for Seniors: Join us on Sept 9th, October 14th and November 18th at 10 AM for seated yoga with Nourishing Storm. This approach enables you to partake in gentle movements no matter what your experience level is!
- Senior Bingo: Join us on September 16th and October 21st at 10 AM for Senior Bingo and have a chance to win some fun prizes!
- Trivia: September 23, 2026. Make sure you wear your smarty pants and win some exciting prizes.
- Tai Chi for Arthritis and Falls Prevention: Join us every Wednesday through December 12th at 1 PM for a special Tai Chi class hosted by the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services. NO CLASS November 11th. You must sign up through Borough Hall, 215-443-9100.

Attention Seniors! The Borough of Hatboro has some exciting events planned for the month of August!

- Chair Yoga for Seniors: Join us on August 12th and September 9th at 10 AM for seated yoga with Nourishing Storm. This approach enables you to partake in gentle movements no matter what your experience level is!

- Senior Bingo: Join us on August 19th and September 16th at 10 AM for Senior Bingo and have a chance to win some fun prizes!
