Let’s hear it for the incredible people who stood out there in the cold, rain, wind, and mud cheering us on at Barry Roubaix! It might have taken a few minutes to climb the wall or conquer the Sisters, but the Hastings Middle School drum line, Dick and Dianne Wright, Kathy L 🦖, and the bagpipers were out there for hours in those same conditions, playing their hearts out and cheering us on every pedal stroke of the way!
Your energy helped get us through those tough conditions!
Thank you, thank you, thank you.

And now we have the winners of the 18 mile presented by Eversource Wealth Advisors!

The 18-mile brought some of the most exciting moments of the day! In the men’s race, Joe Miller powered to the win in 00:56:31, staying smooth through the mud to hold the front. Behind him, the fight for second came down to the line, where Trenton Mercer (00:57:38) edged out Donald Ahrens (00:57:44) in a tight sprint finish.

On the women’s side, Lindsey Desarmo took top honors in 01:08:05 with a strong, controlled ride. Autumn Holzgen (01:09:50) kept the pressure on to secure second, while Kayleen Snider (01:11:48) rounded out the podium after a solid effort in challenging conditions.

In the non-binary race, Karley Metzger (01:32:38) claimed the win, with Devyn Corinne finishing second in 03:36:25.

Tony Spagnuolo took top honors in the para-athlete category, finishing in 01:46:23.

In a year defined by mud, rain, grit, and resilience, 2026 will be remembered as an edition where the course won plenty of battles, and every finisher earned it. Thanks to everyone who showed up ready to take it on and made it a day to remember!

And thanks once again to and for these photos!

We’ve said it once and we’ll say it again THANK YOU to all our incredible volunteers and the locals who showed up big time out on course for this year’s Barry Roubaix 🙌
From cheering in the cold rain and wild wind to keeping racers moving forward, you made the day what it was. Huge shoutout to everyone at the aid stations, our corner marshals, and all of you who jumped in to help wherever it was needed.
We loved seeing the new 100 mile aid station hosted by Gardens Galore and powered by the crew serving up amazing homemade treats. Same with our McCallum Church and Cedar Creek aid station staples! Locals were out there hosing down bikes, swapping gloves, and literally saving rides. Jordan Timmerman offering those special lattes 😉 to give people the extra boost needed to climb the wall. The middle school drum line at the top of the three sisters and bagpipers bringing all the energy while they themselves were getting soaked! That’s commitment! And of course Dick and Diana Wright 🦖 cheering everyone through when needed the most!
This event only works because of this community. Barry County, you showed up and we are so grateful. Thank you 💙

Usually it’s super easy to find racer photos over at by searching bib numbers (highly recommend, and please support these photographers if you find a shot you love). BUT for this crew… every number plate was basically a mud mural. So yes, we did a lot of scrolling. Tiny violin, we know. Still nothing compared to what these riders put themselves through to earn a podium spot in those conditions.
And wow, the 62-mile brought the drama. One of the tightest finishes of the day:
Connor Kamm took the win in 03:00:35 after a hard-fought battle, just ahead of two-time champ David Brower (03:01:30), who edged former teammate Judah Gustafson (03:01:31) in a full sprint to the line.
On the women’s side, Lyllie Sonnemann defended her title with a strong 03:19:40 ride. Olivia Pantano (03:28:10) grabbed second, with Gabrielle Arnold (03:29:03) right there for third.
In the non-binary field, it was all about grit. Javi Martinez powered through as the lone finisher, taking the win in 04:31:03.
And in the para-athlete field, Jesus Moreno crossed in 04:24:42, followed by Brenda Fritz in 05:30:53, both grinding through a seriously demanding day out there.
Absolute respect to everyone who showed up, raced hard, and embraced the crazy conditions . We’re so glad you joined us and stuck it out on a properly muddy day.

Huge thanks once again to and for these incredible photos, we think they’re of you muddy podium racers, but we can’t exactly tell for sure 😂 for everybody else please make sure to check out all our photographers galleries and work out your scrolling muscles if needed, we think it’s worth it hehe
