The Harwinton Hometown Holiday Celebration Committee, in collaboration with various local community groups and organizations, will be presenting the 7th Annual Harwinton Holiday Hometown Celebration on December 2, 2017 from 4-7pm at the Town hall Complex located at 100 Bentley Drive. Clause, hay rides, live entertainment, live animals, food vendors, culminating in the traditional Christmas Tree Li
ghting. In its first year, the event drew over 1000 people of all ages and its goodwill and good cheer carried throughout the holiday season as local children magically received letters back from Santa in response to the letters they dropped off at our Elf Mailbox during the event. The entire celebration is set against a magical backdrop of hundreds of luminaries and exquisite decorations that transform the municipal facility into an exciting inter wonderland! As with many small towns, the success of the event depends almost entirely on volunteers and the generosity of of our local businesses and private individuals.
