CONGRATULATIONS to Ironwood Landscaping LLC in Wethersfield, Connecticut, winner of the Connecticut Flower & Garden Show’s “2026 Best Design Award”. The prize was awarded during the 4-day show in February at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford. PICTURED in the beautiful landscape are Ironwood owners Mike and Emilie Sipala.

During the show, a panel of expert horticulture and landscape design judges strolled the live gardens on display and selected landscape design winners in a wide variety of categories.

Show producer Kristie Gonsalves is grateful to all of the talented landscapers, and to the Federated Garden Clubs of Connecticut and their members for their beautiful juried show, themed “A Storybook Garden”, and the expert horticulturalists and industry professionals, and hundreds of exhibitors who helped to make this huge event happen.

We especially thank the tens of thousands of attendees who came from across the Northeast and beyond to celebrate Spring in February and make this year such a great success.

CONGRATULATIONS to Ladd's Garden Center in South Windham, Conn., winner of the Connecticut Flower & Garden Show’s “2026 Best Horticulture Landscape Design Award”. The prize was awarded during the 4-day show in February at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford. CONGRATULATIONS to Aqua Scapes of CT LLC in Portland, Conn., winner of the Connecticut Flower & Garden Show’s “2026 Best of Show Landscape Design Award”. The prize was awarded during the 4-day show from February 19-22 at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford. Great, great concept and work by Rob and Austin and their team. Pictured in the landscape is Rob Townsend, the owner of the landscaping firm.

Today is the LAST DAY to visit the Connecticut Flower and Garden Show! Come visit our amazing exhibits and enjoy our expert seminars, before it's all gone until next year!

PLEASE NOTE - We will be closing at 3pm today due to predicted inclement weather. So come early enough to enjoy the show and wrap up your day with us by 3pm. Our goal is to allow our showgoers and exhibitors to get home safely before the anticipated evening snowfall.

Several fun activities you might have missed at our 2025 show at the Connecticut Convention Center: 1) Official show opening with a ceremonial cutting of a floral ribbon; 2) Visit from Police dogs Leo and Maverick and their police officer handlers who visited as part of their departments’ K9 crowd training program; and 3) Real live wedding ceremony on site courtesy of Lite 100.5’s Mike & Mary Show.
