Presented by SportsRecruiters.com, and held following the season, the Annual Mr PA Football high school awards celebrate the achievements of the Finalists in a grueling competition of online voting for the Small School Mr. The finalists in each class are present and winners announced at the annual banquet in February. The players from across Pennsylvania are nominated and chosen by football fans,
sportswriters/sportscasters, and coaches, with each group representing 1/3 of the vote. More details of the process are available at www.MrPaFootball.com. Past winners of the Big School award are Rushel Shell of Pitt and Noah Spence of Ohio State. The past winners of the Small School award are Desimon Green of Texas Tech/Hargrave Military Academy and Tyler Boyd. Football PA’s board of advisers is replete with former and current high school athletes, coaches, and respected business, civic and community leaders that recognize the importance of our local football programs and the student athletes.
