Music at Pine Street (MAPS) concluded its 2025–2026 season this past Sunday with a stunning recital by pianist Junwen Liang, a fitting close to a season defined by exceptional artistry and memorable performances.
This season featured an outstanding roster of artists, including violinist Jacques Forestier, organist Eddie Zheng, pianist Talon Smith, soprano Juliette Tacchino, and our annual Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols, which drew a large and enthusiastic audience, culminating in last Sunday’s performance by Junwen Liang.
MAPS continues to present musicians at the highest level, offering Harrisburg audiences the opportunity to experience world-class performances in the remarkable setting of Pine Street’s historic Gothic sanctuary, known for its superb acoustics and home to a Steinway Model D and a four-manual Skinner/Möller pipe organ with 83 ranks and 5,219 pipes.
After each concert, audiences are welcome to receptions to meet the artists and connect with one another, made possible by the dedication of our volunteers, whose work behind the scenes helps bring each event to life.
What sets MAPS apart is its mission: a professional concert series, offered free of charge and made possible entirely through the generosity of our donors. Their support allows us to bring exceptional artists to our community and to share this music as widely as possible.
Thank you to all who attended, volunteered, and supported this season. We look forward to sharing an exciting 2026–2027 lineup with you soon.
