Today, the organizers and sponsors of Plants + Pints, led by Sara Bozich and Harristown Enterprises, presented a check for $8,000 to the event beneficiary, Downtown Daily Bread, a soup kitchen and shelter.

Plants + Pints is an annual event in Strawberry Square that celebrates plant-based goods and food, as well as local craft beer.

We’re pleased to share that Plants + Pints raised $8,000 for at this year’s event! This is our largest check to date, bringing our total over three years to $20,000 to support our neighbors in need.

It truly is “the food event that feeds people!”
