Wyntertyde in Evenmarch. The land slumbers, tucked in tight with a cozy blanket of snow. The magic radiates, dancing to the whispers of the wind and the drumbeats of the woodpeckers.
"We bless this land,
As this land has blessed us.
From the mighty trees that protect us when the sun twinkles,
To the paths that turn playfully sole-sucking whenst it 'sprinkles.'
From the Satyr's Glen dressed with care,
To the Trolls bridge constructed as a dare.
From the tippy-top of the entrance gate,
To the pinned-on tail that is the Lost Boys estate.
From the tiny houses where the fae live,
To the tented lawn where we all come to give.
We come today, not to interrupt your slumber,
But rather to capture in pictures your winter'd lumber.
We come in the hopes that by sharing your hushed frigid respite,
We might help stoke the heat of our faemily's desire and loud delight.
Great Spirit, Higher Power, Goddess, Creator, Mother Nature any or all,
We thank you for creating this space for us,
As we thank you for creating an Us for this space.
Amen and so mote it be."
