Prayers for the family and friends of Robert "Bob" Boswell, who passed away earlier this year. Bob was the Hunting & Wildlife Director for Texas State Rifle Assoc. and for over ten years wrote an article each year in TSRA Sportsman magazine about the Jacob Krebs hunt.

1943 pounds of venison (equivalent to half the live weight) was meticulously placed on ice during this past hunt. When one accounts for the weight of the necropsy deer and the single hog that was harvested, the total exceeds a ton of meat procured in less than three days. One wonders how much of this bounty has already graced a dining plate.
