KCAO's 2nd Annual Monte Carlo Casino Night Fundraiser tickets are now available, returning this year with a Casino Royale Masquerade theme in support of the KCAO Food Bank.

Only a limited number of tickets will be available, so guests are encouraged to purchase theirs early before the event sells out.

The fundraiser will take place on Friday, November 6, 2026, at the Hanford Fraternal Hall, located at 1015 N. 10th Ave., Hanford, CA 93230. Guests are invited to enjoy an elegant evening of casino-style fun, dinner, prizes, and community support, all while helping raise funds for our local food assistance programs.

This year’s event will feature casino favorites including craps, poker, blackjack, and roulette. Tickets are $100 and include event entry, dinner, a complimentary glass of wine, $50 in complimentary casino money to use at the gaming tables, and chances to win amazing prizes throughout the evening.

Proceeds from the Monte Carlo Casino Night Fundraiser will benefit the KCAO Food Bank, which helps provide food and resources to individuals and families throughout Kings County. Community support from events like this helps KCAO continue addressing food insecurity and serving residents in need.

Celebrating the Life of Steve Bernardo

It is with deep love and gratitude for his life that we announce the passing of Steve Bernardo—a cherished friend, dedicated volunteer, and Director of the Hanford Fraternal Hall for over 46 years. Steve’s generosity, leadership, and quiet commitment touched generations in our community, whether he was welcoming neighbors by opening the hall gates, serving in leadership, or spending hours over the stoves cooking traditional Sopas for the annual Holy Ghost Festa.

Date: Friday, August 28th
Time: 11:00 AM
Location: Hanford Fraternal Hall

Reception & Gathering
Following the service, family and friends are invited to remain at the hall to share stories, celebrate Steve's legacy, and enjoy time together. Guests are welcome to bring a favorite dessert to share at the reception.
Memorial Contributions
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Steve’s memory to the Hanford Fraternal Hall to support the community space and traditions he faithfully served for more than four decades.

I want to say thank you to everyone who donated and joined us for the Hanford Fraternal Hall’s 75 anniversary dinner last night. It was a huge success.
Special thanks to the directors and their families who stepped up and knocked it out of the park for an amazing evening.

We are 2 days away from our 75th Anniversary Dinner fundraiser. We still have tickets if you would like to come and celebrate with us. Individual tickets are $75 and and a table of 8 is $700. Gather up some friends and join us for an Amazing time. The theme is Denim and diamonds so get out your good denim throw on some bling and come have fun with us! August 22 Doors open at 5:30!

Make sure you stick around after sopas on Sunday, May 24th, we're holding a Live Auction to celebrate our 75th Festa!

We will have some amazing items including 1000 gallons of red diesel donated by J.C. Lansdowne that will be up for grabs, along with items donated by Kings Dairy Supply, Western Milling and more. We will also be auctioning off Portuguese cheese and wine pairings, and pastries.
