Hello All--
We would like to welcome our judging panel for 2026. Ms. Rachel Birgells, will be judging our Sunday, June 21st session, and Ginger Schinktgen Bellin will be judging Saturday, June 20th. We will add a Saddle and Bridle Shatner Western Pleasure Class one day and a Saddle and Bridle Hunt Seat Classic class. Are there any other classes that you would like to see in our line up? This show is unique that it is two one day shows (double points) and we can add one class one day and another class on the opposite day. Looking forward to your input. Meanwhile, I will put a draft copy up on the summersolsticehorseshow.info so everyone can start planning.

We will have Rent A Chef food truck there on both days from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday will be BBQ day with a choice of pulled pork, smoked chicken, and beef brisket with a choice of two sides. Sunday will be a two taco plate with three sides.

We hope that you can come and attend! This is a great starter show and just a lot of fun.

It's Summer Solstice time! We have a new website address at www.summersolsticehorseshow.info. And, yes, you can blame that one on Ms. Martha, as I let our website expire and it was pirated away...lol. The website is up and running, and the Summer Solstice Horse Show is June 20 and 21st. We will have again 2 one day "B" shows, with added $$$$, and lots of fun. Stay posted, as our TikTok page will also go up this week as well. Stay posted for weekly updates as well!

We want to make horse shows fun again. A one day horse show that is now expanded to a two day horse show with double points and double the judges! Come and enjoy a nice facility, have some good...

Just wanted to thank everyone who came this past weekend to our Summer Solstice Horse Show. The weather was hot, but everyone kept their cool and had a great time. The Fox Valley Saddle Association in Hampshire, IL is a delightful and tranquil facility, and the staff is top notch. Special thank you to our judges, Megan Kittredge and Jennifer Lindgren for their expertise, Sue Hillegonds, our ace show secretary, Maggie Kueking, paddock manager and Marilou Wilschke, our ring mistress. It takes a village to put on a show, and this group helps Ryan and I hit it out of the park. The timed Obstacle Class, the Ranch classes and huntseat classes were the most popular. And, the t-shirts were a big hit in academy and the open classes. We were able to donate to the New Beginnings Therapeutic Riding Foundation NFP as well. Thank you all for coming!

The latest updated version of the show bill is now on the www.summersolsticehorseshow.com website. The single bit classes are now open to all breeds and not just ASB.

And, we are looking for sponsors....$30/35 per class. We still can do a banner for $300.00 as well.

AND....we have that special raffle basket to the winner of the pool of sponsors. This year, it is a special mystery box with drawers filled with goodies.

AND, we are having an exhibitor party on Friday night from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. It's a TACO BAR with all the fixings, a Southwest salad, spanish rice, chips, dip and your choice of lemonade or ice tea. Come and join us!
